My favorite video game series is The Borderlands
franchise. I’m going to focus on Borderlands 2.This game keeps the player
entertained the whole time. You have your choice of what character to play as,
they have one for each player type so choose wisely. After choosing your character
you have a small amount of time it customizes color and head. Don’t worry you can’t
change it throughout the game. Besides the Funny commentary of the game you
have this interesting story that drags you in, you are trying to save Pandora
from Handsome jack. My favorite thing about this game is the amount of
customizing game play you can control. Each character has a special attack that
they can use and level up. For me I play as Gaige, the Mechromancer. There are
3 skill trees and you can level them up of your own choice depending on what
type of gamer you are and how you would like to play through this time. I’ve
beaten this game about 16 times and I’ve played different characters and
leveled up the three skill trees differently to see how the game play differs.
I love being able to follow a story but play it how I am comfortable and that’s
why this game is my favorite. Each gamer is different and having a game that
lets you follow that path really helps to become immersed in it.
I decided to binge watch Orange is the New Black for this week. I got through a couple of them, there are 5. I noticed that the main way this show traps their audience is huge reveals and shocking actions that the audience didn’t think of. Prison sure is unpredictable. In the first season you meet Chapman and you watch her adjust to prison life. There is normal drama, ex girlfriend being there does not help and in prison there is always someone who wants to kill you. This show really keeps you in on each character showing back stories to support their actions before they happen. Now knowing some of the back story of the other inmates they tend to end episodes leaving you wondering what will this crazy person do next! They led you up with a formula, character, backstory, actions in present. But to keep you guessing they end a lot of episodes after backstory or you are giving a little action. They also remind you how horrible humans are. Even the on...
