Curate Yourself- Borderlands franchise

My favorite video game series is The Borderlands franchise. I’m going to focus on Borderlands 2.This game keeps the player entertained the whole time. You have your choice of what character to play as, they have one for each player type so choose wisely. After choosing your character you have a small amount of time it customizes color and head. Don’t worry you can’t change it throughout the game. Besides the Funny commentary of the game you have this interesting story that drags you in, you are trying to save Pandora from Handsome jack. My favorite thing about this game is the amount of customizing game play you can control. Each character has a special attack that they can use and level up. For me I play as Gaige, the Mechromancer. There are 3 skill trees and you can level them up of your own choice depending on what type of gamer you are and how you would like to play through this time. I’ve beaten this game about 16 times and I’ve played different characters an

Suddenly, a Knock on the Door

1. What is your reaction to the text you just read? This text seemed to confuse me a little. It starts with a man being held at gun point, but this man wants nothing more then a story. Throughout the short story 2 more men come in. All three of these men demand a story, something to excite life to escape reality. They say times are hard and they can’t stand it anymore. The story is called "suddenly, a knock on the door", I believe that this story is meant to show you the possibilities of what can happen and how you never know what will be waiting for you out side that door, what will the word be demanding of you next. Every person has a role in this world and his is to tell stories. Sadly, this writing doesn’t want to spit out some story that wont matter at all, he only wants to bring beautiful stories to such a horrible world but that takes time and he has none of that. I respect this writer for still wanting time to make something lovely and worth hearing even with thr

Interview with a Vampire: Lestat

Lestat is the vampire that I will be trying to portray. I chose him because after reading the screenplay his character stood out the most to me. He is strong and evil and overall seductive and I fell for his character. Mysterious and coy is pretty much how he stays in this novel, at times he shows is weaknesses but most things don’t get to this handsome badass vampire prince. His character never seems to think hard and long about his actions which tells me he his impulsive and doesn’t see life as sacred. Killing who he wants and win he believes is his right as a vampire, since he is already damned what can hurt him? He relishes his abilities and doesn’t understand vampire’s ho don’t, ones that see human life for what it is, living. He was so alone, this emptiness has caused him to manipulate his friends to stay with him, which never works. Its hard for him when plans don’t work out and he no longer lives in luxury because before becoming vampire his father made she he
